INSTALLATION OF FLOOR HEATING FOIL
DIRECTLY UNDER LAMINATE / PARQUET FLOOR

After the installation panels have been installed, roll out the foil across the desired area on the insulation panels. The insulation material used must be the type approved by the manufacturer, which is delivered with the foil. If necessary, the foil can be attached to the insulation panels with tape to prevent it from moving.

A gap of cabling can be left by the wall (no insulation) to lead the cable to the jungtion box.

Once the foil have been installed, roll out the building plastic on the top of the foil. To prevent damage to the foil, walking is not allowed on the heating areas of the foil and no wastes may be left between the plastic, insulation panel and the foil. The floor must be installed immediately so as not to expose the foil to mechanical damages.

The laminate / parquet floor is easier to install by first fitting a small area from where to continue the rest of the installation. This is easier if the foil is installed in the same direction with the laminate.

The censor of the floor-heating thermostat is installed near the edge of the foil. It is recommended to install the censor in a proactive tube in the case it needs to be replaced later. The proactive tube is installed close to the edge of the foil in such a way that it touches the underside of the laminate / parquet and can measure the tempereture of the flooring. The thermostat is the E-2003 type (Etherma), which includes a fault current circuit interrupter.

The quarantee is only valid if the installation is made in compliance wit the instructions using the insulation panels and type of thermostat listed by the manufacturer.

The foil may not be installed under fixed furniture and fittings (such as closets, partition walls), because the foil temperature will become too high.

Do not use heavy mats or seting pillows because they prevent the transmission of heat to the room.
